The 225th Judicial District Court is one of many Texas trial courts with general jurisdiction in the entirety of Bexar County. Established by the Texas Legislature, the Civil District Courts preside over divorce cases, cases involving title to land and real property, wrongful death, personal injury, many various contested civil matters, election cases, high conflict custody, and contested civil matters containing high monetary damages or claims.

District Court Judges are elected to serve four year terms and any registered voter, who is registered in Bexar County can vote for the 225th Civil District Court.
